Lately
Soon after we left, we published a blog post. During all this frenzy, we barely had time to mention the process in which we are totally immersed. This process of co-creation residency is divided into four phases:
- Interviews
- Ideas and Dreams
- Prototyping
- Integration
We are now in the phase Interviews. In this regard, we will meet with the ecosystem’s project initiators and key individuals to gain a better understanding of their reality and ask them the question we shared with you last week.
Since the last blog post, we have travelled more than 400 km. We spent a few days in Sherbrooke to take the pulse of the local ecosystem and chat with the members of La Fabrique ateliers collectifs, located in the locals of the incubator Espace-INC. We talked with the incubated, the incubators and the project initiators around a potluck.
The following day, we went to Valcourt to meet with the staff of the J. Armand Bombardier Museum Fab Lab, Anthony, Simon and Francis, before setting off again. This small rural Fab Lab is located in the Museum of Ingenuity J. Armand Bombardier. This type of Fab Lab is better known in the U. S. and is the first of its kind on Canadian soil.
We had to improve our vehicle’s storage space in order to transport and especially, carry out our equipment. These improvements took place at L’Islet sur mer and Rivière-du-Loup with the collaboration of Linéaire Design, a new partner to join the caravan, and a dozen other people without whom we couldn’t have done it. To have access to a workshop in less than 24 hours’ notice is nothing short of a miracle.
